Founded by Maître Philippe Veber—an attorney passionate about sport, the sports economy and the complex legal issues arising in Sports Law, and with expertise in business law—Veber Avocats has been a trusted partner for more than 22 years, at both national and international level, to professional athletes, elite athletes and stakeholders in the sports sector (clubs, associations, federations, motor racing teams, cycling teams, organisers of sporting events, sponsors, sports agencies, image rights agencies, CREPS training centres, local authorities, etc.).

Drawing on a combination of specialised skills and in-depth knowledge of the sports world and its ecosystem, Veber Avocats supports, advises, assists and represents its clients in connection with their activities and complex challenges.

From its first doping case in 2002, to advising the organiser of the FIA World Endurance Championship, to assisting motor racing teams for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 Dakar Rallies, as well as a WorldTour cycling team, and protecting the interests of iconic athletes, Veber Avocats has developed recognised know-how acknowledged by Décideurs Magazine since 2011 and by Le Point in 2024 and 2025, receiving the “INCONTOURNABLE” and “BEST LAW FIRMS – 4 Stars” labels in Sports Law. The firm has also been awarded seven “Trophées d’Or” by Le Monde du Droit in Sports Law in 2015–2020 and 2023.

Beyond its support of athletes and its Sports Law practice, Veber Avocats is committed to helping young French athletes through financial assistance.
